Credit Officer – Call Center

The Credit Officer will ensure delinquent customers in assigned portfolio are kept to a minimum and that they are dealt with promptly and effectively using methods within the company’s guidelines.

Here is more of what you will get to do:

  • Conduct the required number of calls to customers assigned on a weekly basis.
  • Initiate and effect payment arrangements that will address delinquency.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure customers comply with the arrangement made.
  • Ensure compliance with arrears collection procedures and updating customers accordingly.
  • Update system in accordance with arrangements.
  • Must always be courteous and helpful to customers and co-workers and practice good customer service.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of customer’s personal information.
  • Present relevant information promptly, clearly, and concisely to customers and supervisors.
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications / Education:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree.
  • Experience in debt collection.

Schedule:

  • 45 hours a week
  • Monday to Saturday

In this role, you will be working with the consumer finance department which is responsible for the credit area of the business.
