The Credit Officer will ensure delinquent customers in assigned portfolio are kept to a minimum and that they are dealt with promptly and effectively using methods within the company’s guidelines.
Here is more of what you will get to do:
- Conduct the required number of calls to customers assigned on a weekly basis.
- Initiate and effect payment arrangements that will address delinquency.
- Monitor accounts to ensure customers comply with the arrangement made.
- Ensure compliance with arrears collection procedures and updating customers accordingly.
- Update system in accordance with arrangements.
- Must always be courteous and helpful to customers and co-workers and practice good customer service.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of customer’s personal information.
- Present relevant information promptly, clearly, and concisely to customers and supervisors.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications / Education:
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree.
- Experience in debt collection.
Schedule:
- 45 hours a week
- Monday to Saturday
In this role, you will be working with the consumer finance department which is responsible for the credit area of the business.
